Watertown Church of the Nazarene is a body of Jesus Christ believers legally organized and registered as a 501c3 not for profit religious body in the United States of America and State of Tennessee. Officially organized under the auspices of the Church of the Nazarene International within the boundaries of the East Tennessee District Church of the Nazarene. To know God; and to provide a climate in which each person can come to their full spiritual potential in Jesus Christ.
Watertown Church of the Nazarene worshipping and exhibiting the life of Jesus Christ and His Church. Committed to making Christ- Like Disciples with the Holy Bible as our foundation and final authority; being Missional, Christian, and Biblical. Our polity is a combination of congregational/episcopal supported in the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene and in historical/biblical articles of faith, belief, and practice.
Vision
Watertown Church of the Nazarene embraces the world as our parish with a focus upon Home and World missions teaching, learning, and performing hands-on projects. The beliefs and practices are developed and referenced from the Bible, divinely inspired and inerrant producing new and more mature Christians.
Opportunities for Worship and Spiritual Growth
- Sunday Morning Services each week from 10:00am -12:00 noon at Adopted Farmhouse 100 Public Square.
- Monday Neighborhood Bible Study at Depot Junction Café in Watertown each Monday at 1130. Bring your Bible and invite a friend. This Bible study is open to everyone.
- Lydia Ladies Prayer Meeting is a special time for women at 1:00 PM each Friday at The Adopted Farmhouse, 100 Public Square.
- “Sherman’s Sermon” column in the Watertown Express newspaper.
- Men’s Coffee Break time at Shoney’s on Cumberland in Lebanon, twice monthly; the second and last Wednesdays of each month, at 10:00 AM.
